IT8 Button Still Grey After Calibration

Just got an epson v750. I calibrated with the transparent IT8 target provided with ezcolor by downloading the reference file and placing it in the silverfast preference folder. Everthing seemed to be fine, but the IT8 button will not turn from grey to color per the instructions. Does this mean it's not working?

this behavior is normal as you have not created the ICC profile with SilverFast itself. But as long as you have the profile you created with EZColor selected in the CMS setting as Scanner profile it is applied.
To use the SilverFast one click Auto-IT8 Calibration you would need our Targets.
