confusion about versions and targets
I notice that there are several types of IT8 targets and 2 general categories, with software and without. Targets are also listed differently for different film. I scan xPan negatives as well as 6x6 and 6x9. I use 2 or 3 types of color film primarily. If using AI version what target do i need and how many do I need? This appears to have gotten very pricey.

Dear dmaclau ,
you would just need a reflective and transparency target, this should be sufficiant.
the reflective is used whens you scna reflectivd the transparency is used when you scan transparency if you got mainly Kodak film I would buy an Kodak target if it is mainly Fuji it is the other way around.
