Sivervast 6.5.5r5 with Reflecta RPS extrem unstable

Last week i bought a reflecta 7200 bundled with silverfast.
Because silverfas was extremly unstable I updated
the version to the newest one aviable. But the same behavior happens.
Sometimes one or two negatives would be scanned correct but then silverfast hang up. Everytime I try an manual calibration, the software hang up. Automatic calibration work fine but the grid nerver matches the calibtarion-target. I have scanned now 11 negatives in 7 hour of testing with uncountet hangups and restarts. Scans with 7200 dpi never works. Unly some trys with 3600 dpi success.
The additional software where is bundled was CyberView X. This software NEVER hangs and works like it should do. (But the quality of the scans is far not so good as on silverfast). Also a try with v**s**n was whitout problems. My PC is an AMD 5200 Dual core with 1 GB memory, XP Pro.

I want to know what happens with this high rated pice of Software named silverfast. I'am very disappointed.

sorry for your inconveniences, but I am not aware of problems SilverFast might have driving a Reflecta 7200 under XP.

Please gives more thorough information about your problem and your environment in our Support area.
