I know that you must load Nikon Scan 4.0.2 to use Silverfast AI Studio. I was just wondering if anyone here had done this using a MacPro running the latest version of Tiger ( OS 10.4.11)?
From what I have heard the problem is that Nikon Scan V4.0.2 is not that compatible with Intel macs and will only run in stand-alone mode. :o which if true is OK... It's just that I was wondering if SF AI Studio works well in the same enviroment given that it uses Nikon Scan as a foundation?
Does SF IA Studio V6.5.5 work on Intel MacPros? CoolScan9000

Dear User,
we will be coming out with a new version of SilverFast 6.5, which is a reprogramming to get rid of the Nikon MAID-Module inflicted problems.
This will be a free upgrade from SilverFast 6.5 and will solve the problems with Mac INTEL platform for Nikon LS4000, LS40, LS5000, LS50 and also for LS8000, LS9000.
We expect the launch within the next 2 weeks, first for LS4000/LS 40 and LS5000/LS50 and a little bit later for LS8000/LS9000.
best regards
