I'm using Silverfast AI for the Nikon LS4000 and I am totally confused which setting gets stored at which location.
There are "Frame-Set", "Settings", "Default Setting", "Option Parameter" and so forth. Could somebody give an overview about setups?
I simply want to define all settings i.e. to batch scan Velvia or Ektachrome slides and then retrieve that setting with a single mouse click.
Storing settings

Dear Mr Reiss
well, then I need to "complicate" things a bit further:
You can adjust the Negafix profiles, thus building your own profiles and save them to the Negafix dialogue. They then will be a new film type option that can be easily selected as they become and element of the other-other-... Negafix dropdown list.
Frame-Set: stores information about frame(s) size and location.
Settings: stores information about changes to an individual frame with regards to the SilverFast tools (histogramme, gradation, SCC, GCC, etc.)
Such a setting can be set as the "Default Setting" for a new frame to be generated (> Options > General).
Option Parameter: save all Options done in the SilverFast "Options" dialogue.
