LaserSoft Imaging

I would like to upgrade my SilverFast Ai IT8 to the current version for automatic frame detection and rotation, but it is not clear if it is available in AI or if you need to upgrade to AI Studio. Can someone in Lasersoft answer this question.

I understand why you are not sure. One spot on the web site says,

The SilverFast 6.5 AutoFrame Alignment is available in SilverFast SEPlus, AiStudio, DC Pro Studio and HDR Studio. All SilverFast SE users are entitled to an upgrade for a reduced price from our website via download or CD version order.

and in another location it says,

The automatic frame is available for all SilverFast 6.5 versions and is best suited to identify images which are positioned on the flatbed without an image holder.

I do believe that the second quote is correct.

Dear Jim,

the Find Frames feature is availabe in all versions,
but for the free rotation an Ai-Studio or SE-Plus version is needed.
