My 6.4 for Polaroid Sprintscan also has a button for multi-exposure.
So what makes the new multi-exposure in 6.5 so revolutionary different?
Curious to know if I should spend 136 ? for the upgrade...

L.Willms,
Version 6.4 has multi-scan Vs multi-exposure. The top button is multi-scan and the bottom button is for the new multi-exposure. Multi-scan will work in both transparency and reflective modes, but multi-exposure currently only works in transparency mode.
I had scanned some old negatives using 6.4xx multi-scan and just recently scanned them again using 6.5xx multi-exposure. Not only is the quality of the scans better, but the process took much less time.

Dear L.Willms,
in most cases Multi-Exposure is superior to Multi-Scanning when it comes to the shadow details.
The Microtek SprintScan 120 scanner, only, has a special firmware problem, which allows SilverFast to use the Multi-Exposure feature for scans up to 2000 dpi (and not beyond). This is not quite but almost the physical resolution of this scanner.
Best regards
