SilverFast SE Plus File Naming Question

I got Silverfast SE with my scanner. I was disappoointed with the naming system in place as you scan each item.

Can you tell me does SilverFast SE Plus have it were it will automactially name files with consecutive nuumbers (and have it so you can set what you want each scan to save as .tiff, .gif, .jpg, etc.). Like for example, I want to set it up so that it will name each file Smith_Book1.tif, Smith_Book2.tif, etc. as I scan each page.

My 100 dollar I had previously came with software that did this.....

I now have a UMAX PowerLook 2100XL.

with SilverFast SE Plus you will be able to do what you want.

First you have to switch the Scan Mode from " Normal " to " Batch ".

Now, draw a frame, make your settings and start the scan. At the " Output settings " window you write at " File naming " >> Smith_Book and at the entry " Index " you deactivate : Reset for every batch scan

Now the scans will automactially name files with consecutive numbers.
