I did look at the website, but unfortunately, it is not written for the techno deficient like me. Knowing this limitation, I just buy the most expensive stuff to make up for it.

So I have this silverfast thing which came with an Epson V750 pro scanner. It is version 6.4.3r4a. On the left of the scan window there is a button, tenth one down, that is labled multiple scans minimize the noise when you roll the cursor over it. Is this the same as the multi exposure upgrade that I have been reading about, and therefore do not have to upgrade to get it? If not, is my version eligible for the free upgrade? If not, what does the upgrade cost?

I bet this information is on the website somewhere, but I have not been able to unearth it.

The multi sampling is not the same function as the multi exposure in the new version of Silverfast. If you bought your Epson V750 pro after the first of november, you're eligible for a free update to Silverfast AI 6.5 +IT8, BUT the multi exposure function seems to be only included in Silverfast SE Plus and Silverfast AI Studio (both none IT8 and +IT8 versions).

I don't know if they plan to include it in a future update (I hope they will) and why the multi exposure wasn't included in this version while it is included with the cheaper Silverfast SE Plus ...
