I'm attempting (again, after waiting and frying other fish for a year) to archive my collection of 10'000+ slides. What I would love SF to do is save the images twice, once in a nearly lossless format (48bit HDR / JPEG2000) in case I want to do some processing later on, and once in "eye-candy" format (24bit, JPEG, fully automatic optimization) for easy viewing/browsing. Is this currently possible without scanning each slide twice? If not, please take it as an urgent enhancement request.
Also, does SF finally recognize the frame? I was told that automatic frame recognition was in the works a year ago, but I can't seem to find it in the latest version (6.4.4r6).
Last but not least, what is the latest take on firmware version for the Reflecta DigitDia4000? Does SF6.4.4r6 work with version 1.06?
Cheers,
Beat

Dear Beat
an idea that looks so self-suggesting - It still it seems though that this was not thought of already by ourselves. So thanks very much indeed for your inspiration. I shall input this into our internal development database right away.
Concerning your other questions I will ask our testers to give you a status update here in this forum thread.
Best regards

Dear Beat
As soon as I am able to tell, I will. ;)
No, honestly, thanks indeed for your feedback, right now I am compiling a list of items support staff likes to see implemented before a major version upgrade, but what effectively might be done by the devs is still undecided, and therefore - you rather want to fetch a cup of tea right now...
Kind regards
