LaserSoft Imaging

I must have pressed a wrong button. On the final scan, the image comes through as a very narrow vertical image. I am very new at using this system and have no idea how to determine what I did wrong and how to correct the problem. The scanner seems to grind as it is producing the image. I had scanned 200 slides without any incident. Then this happened. Can anyone help me figure this out and how I can correct it? Thanks.

Double check all of your settings related to output size and resolution.
