I recently upgraded to Tiger (Mac OSX 4.1). Prior to upgrading, I was able to scan by importing into Photoshop CS2 just fine. I uninstalled Silverfast (app and all preferences), downloaded the latest driver (6.4.2r1) and installed. When it tries to lauch Ai (from photoshop import) I get an error message "There was no scanner found!" - etc. I can launch the SF Launcher and it finds the scanner just fine.
HELP!!
PS I forgot to mention that this is all on my external firewire hard drive. I want to test Tiger here before upgrading to it on my eMac.
IT'S WORKING! I uninstalled everything, downloaded SFE-6.4.1r9a(Epson).sit for my Epson 1240U scanner. Installed and it's working!!!
THANKS.

I think I replied to your support request yesterday (uninstall SF, then only run the installer for the latest version). In case I'm confusing you with a different customer, please let me know at
https://www.silverfast.com/problemreport ... stallation
and I'll send you uninstall instructions.
