I've heard so much about Silverfast and I want to know what it could do for my UMAX Powerlook III.
Currently, I scan 6x6 negs and slides using the standard software. I'm not happy with slide color scans that I'm getting.
In the shadow areas, I get some kind of "bleeding in" of greenish hue. I'm guessing it is inherent physical flaw (refraction from the glass?).
Could getting Silverfast fix this problem?
I also do alot of B&W neg, which I scan as negative and transfering it to positive in Photoshop. With Silverfast, Do I need to do this procedure or just go strait to positive from the scan? Thanks!
