SilverFast AI and Windows XP vs Mac OS X

I have the option to scan on either platform. Disregarding all of the subjective opinions on the merits of the two platforms, is there any difference in quality and/or functionality of SilverFast AI on the two platforms? In other words, does it work better on one or the other, or should the output be virtually identical? I'm using a Microtek 120tf.

There shouldn?t be any difference in the functionality and qualtity of SilverFast on the two platforms.

BTW. If you purchase SilverFast you can download SilverFast for both platforms and in 6 languages.
