LaserSoft Imaging

Gentlemen, I have just recently purchased a Nikon Super Coolscan 8000 ED, and two days ago I installed Silverfast 5.5. Using the IT8 slide for calibration was no problem. Scanning 35mm. slides is just great. My problems begin when scanning 6x9cm. The preview window does not take all of the 6x9 format. I still have the Nikon scanner software installed. I am using Windows 2000 Prof. operating system. Any sugestions?

SilverFast 5.5.0r19(Mac)/r18(Win)for Nikon LS8000 has problems with multi format material 6x4.5, 6x6,6x7,6x8, and 6x9cm (Win/Mac).

LaserSoft is currently working on a fix to this. For the moment it is not recommendable to scan mulit format material with SilverFast and the LS8000. Rather use NikonScan to digitalize such material in raw format and then optimize those raw-files with SilverFast HDR.
