Using CTRL or CTRL SHIFT to see optical resolution

Hi,

I am using SilverFast Ai Studio 6.4.0r9c on Windows XP Professional. When I press CTRL or CTRL+SHIFT, in an attempt to see the optical resolution value, nothing happens. Is there some trick to get this to work on the Windows version ?

Thanks,
Trevor.

Dear Trevor,

we changed the usage of the Ctrl key with the Studio versions. Normally when you press the Ctrl key there should pop up a message box informing you about the changes. Don't you get this message box?
Anyway: To see the hardware resolution (formerly Ctrl key), you now have to press F5. To see the interpolated resolution (formerly Ctrl+Shift keys), you now have to press F6.
It was changed to be able to use the Ctrl key for the new zoom function.

Regards
Ralf

Hi Ralf,

Thanks for your reply. I do remember seeing the message popup about the new Zoom functions, but obviously did not take adequate notice that the CTRL and CRTL+SHIFT functions had been re-mapped to F5 and F6 before turning off the message display.

All OK now :)
F5 and F6 work just fine.

Thanks again,
Trevor.
