System: Mac G4, 450 mhz, 1.5 gigs ram, OSX.2.8,
Scanner and software: Howtek 4500, Silverfast V6
All scans are coming out dark. I am missing a setting somewere or I am having a hardware/software problem. I would be thankful for any help or suggestions offered. I have tried all ways that I can think of. I have been to Ian Lyons site many times. Great site, I only wish I could find my troubles there. Before Silverfast I ran Trident 4. Very simple in its operation. I have always with Trident made a profile and applied in Photoshop. Trying many ways with Silverfast I have not been able to get close to the results with Trident.
