LaserSoft Imaging

hi,
i am using ls40 on a nikon coolscan IV ED. i used the demo version which worked fine for a while then the scans wouldnt save. on a one pass scan the dialog box zipped off the screen instantly.

i have since bought the full version and the same thing is happening. on a 4 or 16 pass scan, the scanner goes through the motions of working but at the end of it the pictures is not saved anywhere.

im using silverfast through ps 7 on winxp pro.

any help appreciated.
