Which IT8 profile to use?

I notice on the CD & website that there are at least 2 files(E0105111.txt & E0105141.txt)that appear to be suitable for my Polaroid Sprintscan 4000. Opening each in notepad, they both show the same date (05/01) & film type (Ektachrome Type 3) info as shown on the reference slide (on the CD there is a third file with a more recent creation date, but with the same info in the document header). My question is: which of these should I be using? I'm using Photoshop Plugin. Thanks.

There should be a number on your IT8 Target that should tell you which reference file to use. It may be written very small, and it may also be on the packaging. Try checking that if you haven't already.

Thanks, found it. Silly me, put the slide in the slide holder & shoved it into scanner. Thought the file info I was looking for was part of the scanned test image...
