Software problems with Umax 2100XL

I just connected my Umax 2100XL scanner with my new G5 (10.3.4). I was using Scanmaker; now using Silverfast SE.

Can Silverfast SE do batch scans? If so, how?

Is there any way I can remove the annoying dialogue boxes associated with Scan Pilot? They block the view of some options.

When I launch SilverFast on its own, I'm not able to access the top menu bar.

Dear Paul.

1. SilverFast SE cannot do batch scanning.

2. Click the "Prefs" button in the ScanPilot window. In the Prefs dialog, deselect "Open at startup". The scan pilot will not open again.

3. SilverFast has no menu bar. If you mean the menu bar of the host application, then this menu bar is not acessable when SilverFast runs.
