Silverfast vs Photoshop "Tweak Ratio"

Both Silverfast and Photoshop offer a huge set of image adjustment/editing tools. In May 2004 issue of Popular Photography & Imaging, the magazine's resident digital guru suggests it's best to do most of the job in Photoshop. This seems to me an exageration. However, I also think it is a legitimate question as to how much tweaking is to be done in either program, and wonder what is the experience of fellow Silverfast users.

Good question Tomaz. I only use certain tools in SF HDR, I never use the sharpener or noise reduction, I prefer to use Neat Image for noise and I do all sharpening with Photokit Sharpener. If the image is faded due to age I will use ACR to bring the color back. Other then setting the white & black points, I prefer to use my PS workflow for the final corrections. I guess you can call me a creature of habit. :D
