Well, for sure you have to serialize it. THere is a section in the manual that tells you how. It is pretty simple thougth. Start SF, look for the button next to the scan frame with the i on it. Click , click on credits, click on upgrade. Enter the correct serial number, click ok (or maybe close) and you are done. If you purchased any other options like IT8 , you will have a different serial number to use. Just do the same thing. You will need the feature CD in the drive before you do it though.

I had serialized the program.
I finally uninstalled everything I could find and then reinstalled PS7 since a piece had gotten ditched.

To begin with the software does not install the Plug in into Photoshop PlugIns folder. I had to do that manually. There was a copy in SF Launcher.

The problem now is that I cannot get the software to recognize the scanner (Epson Expression 636, SCSI) When I first installed the program that was not a problem.

Obviously without the connection to the scanner I cannot even find out if I still have the watermark. That problem I believe was the fact that I had downlloaded a Demo and I didn't get all of that deleted.

Instructions for installing this software are very minimal IMHO and there does not seem to be any problem solvers in the FAQ's that will help much, I find that normal with most programs.

I should mention that I am not a complete idiot on the Mac since I have been using at least a dozen of the top programs since the old Plus first hit the streets. Never had this kind of trouble with any other program so anything you can tell me is a big help.

Edit: I forgot to mention that when I do a find on the machine I do not have Ai and reinstalling from the disc does not seem to install it. Probably why it isn't recognizing the scanner. javascript:emoticon(':x')

Well, since the only response I got from my original query was from Frank I guess this forum is about like many others, folks don't know much about the programs or they do not wish to share what they know.

Anyway, I deduced the problem myself. I had the understanding that DC PRO included Ai which of course it does not. I really have little need for DC PRO since I have several other programs that do more. At $300 I think it should include Ai.

I have a very long memory when it comes to getting stuck. I realize that this can be considered my "dumb" fault but documentation for these programs stink.
