It8 bought seperately for Ai 5.5.2 and updating to Ai 6

I would like to update to Ai 6 but here is my question. When I bought Ai 5.5 I didn't purchase the IT8 calibration. Stupid, I know. I later bought the IT8 calibration for my Epson Perfection 2450 Photo scanner from LaserSoft. If I purchase the $65 upgrade will my IT8 calibration software and color card work properly with the upgrade? Just don't want to have to pay the extra money for the IT8 if not necessary.
Also, if it is absolutely necessary, then I don't have the serial number with the initial program that did include IT8, BUT I do have a seperate serial number for the software that came with the IT8 program I bought from LaserSoft.

Dear Poppamac,
if you place your order for the upgrade, please mention that you are using your current SilverFast WITH IT8 (and supply that number you wrote about). LSI will then provide you with two new serials: one for the version 6 and anotherone for the IT8 function in version 6.

Your IT8 target remains valid (of course).

When purchasing for an online download there is no place to mention that I have Silverfast with IT8. When I purchased the seperate IT8 Feature CD which I assume is with the IT8 calibration it came with a serial number. When I plug in this serial number on the Feature CD it still proceeds with the update purchase so will that do, and do they automatically send me two new serial numbers? Sorry to be a pain here.

I think I have just answered my own question. I happened to open my Silverfast Ai program and got to the part where it tells you your serial number and it is the serial number that is on the Feature CD so will use that number. Sorry to have bothered you. Live and learn I guess. Thanks for your quick reply earlier.
