I notice that when I scan in landscape format at a monitor resolution of 800 x 600, the scan window and SilverFast control panel/pane do not fit comfortable on the screen (ie. there is overlap and one or the other has to be constantly moved).
One solution would be to increase the monitor resolution but I do find that working in 800 x 600 resolution ideal as anything finer would render the icons virtually unreadable..
Is there any way the SilverFast scan window can be resized so that it fits better onto the screen alongside the SilverFast control panel?
Regards,
Eric Lawrie

Eric,
click on the bottom right hand corner of the preview screen and drag it diagonally up towards the top left hand corner.
You can also minimise the main control panel and place it under the preview screen or over, etc. The little triangle just below the zoom button. Also possible to make the densitomter part of the control panel rather than floating by closing it down.
