i am on the tenth hr trying to get a username and password!
i paid for my 5.5 upgrade for my ls2000 already and i got a serial number from lasersoft usa(only by phone cause can't create serial number online!).
however, i could not register online(again), it always prompt me some error when i try register at lasersoft's database?
pls kindly help!

I feel your pain. The same thing happened to me when I upgraded a while back. I'm surprised that their registration page still isn't accepting the new serial #s.
There are a few things that you can try.
You could try downloading the demo and click on the info screen and see if the serialize button works (it didn't in earlier demos, but it might now)
Next, you could email the German Company with your serial #, since they will be at work about 6 or 7 hrs. before the US Office opens at: info@silverfast.de.
Otherwise, I'd call the US office in the morning or write Martin or Nick at LSI (you'll find there email addresses on this forum if you search for their names) I wouldn't try emailing the info@lasersoft.com, as they seem to take several days to respond since it's their main email address.
