Can we see ROC and GEM support in Silverfast, for the Nikon LS 4000/LS40 in the future?

Dear Xander,
ROC and GEM will not be supported by SilverFast in the same way you can find them in NikonScan, however with SilverFast you can also enhance the intensity of colours in various ways - separate color correction, brightness control of individual colour channel (RGB) - which would equal the ROC function.
The GEM function (grain equalization) is not implemented in SilverFast, as an alternative the USM & descreening function can smoothen a given image.

FILM GRAIN REDUCTION will be implemented in SilverFast
Ai as our own development. Expect something even better than GEM within the next couple of weeks.
RESTORATION of FADED OUT COLOURS is already a feature of SilverFast
Ai. The intelligence within SilverFast's auto-adjust in combination with the selective colour correction can effectively bring back any faded out colours.

I just purchased LaserSoft 5.5 for the Nikon 8000ED. Has the GEM capability been released? If so, how has it been implemented? If not, what is the expected timing?
How specifically has the ROC been built into the LaserSoft?
