Greyscale profiles

Silverfast 6 has now the ability to select greyscale profiles.
But there are none available to select e.g. G 1.8 or G 2.2 as
in Photoshop.

Where can I get such profiles and how do I setup Silverfast AI
to use them.

Theo,
open the Colormanagement dialog in PS,go to grayscale, choose for example gray gamma 2.2 and in THE SAME pulldown menue, where you just chose graygamma 2,2,you can save this as an ICC profile! Then go to the colormanagement in Silverfast and just load it there. It will show up then in the grayscale options.

Stefan,

thanks for your tip. But unfortunatly it does not work in my
environment. (PS 7, Windows 2000)

I can select different profiles in PS for greyscale (e.g. Grey gamma)
but there is no save or load option (as I could find in CMYK).

Please see screen shot below.

Do you have a different version/OS for PS?

Somehow the reply counter did not work with the last reply. So I added this reply to check.

Thanks again for the info.

I had to check the "Advanced Mode" and then the load and save
entries appear in the menu.
