AI 6 setup

hello,i have just purchased AI6 FOR MY EPSON 1640su scanner...when i use my epson scanner driver the scan looks better in my scan window than when i use silverfast...i guess the best description would be it seem grainy...the epson is clearer....my setup is as follows...my working space in Photoshop7 is ColormatchRGB....i have had my monitor professionally calibrated....an icc profile for photoshop and i have an icc profile for my scanner and a profile for my epson printer....it genarally all works graeat together....in the CMS options space...under colormanagement i have scanner internal (none-its greyed out)...internal monitor(automatic)...internal output(RGB).....under profile ICM i hve 1.scanner reflective(none-greyed out) 2.scanner transparency(none-greyed-all my work in silver is with negative film)3.internal(Colormatch RGB)4.grey(none)5.output printer(none-greyed out)6.rendering(perceptual)....next ICC profiles is checked....Profile to imbed is Colrmatch RGB and plug and play is greyed out....i apoligize for this very long e-mail. I notice no mention of my scanner in any of thse listings...do i have silver fast set up correctly for working with film negatives...thank you so much... Rory
