windows 7 to windows 10

I have a plustek 7600i with silverfast 6. After trying out the 8.5 version, I prefer the newer one and am considering upgrading to silverfast 8.8 Ai Archive suite. There is one thing I'd like to know before purchasing. You have to select your system in the store, which currently is Windows 7 64bit, but in the future I might switch to Windows 10. If i purchase now with windows 7, would I have to buy a new license again if i decide to go to Windows 10? The archive suite is quite expensive, so I only want to buy it once.

Your purchase is not limited to a certain operating system.
It is valid for all supported systems.
The selection is only there to make sure you are using a supported system.
