SF6 has nice new features and many more bugs

The new features of SilverFast 6 are wonderful. The larger prescan window, the integrated job manager and even better and more expanded color correction tools ...and let's not forget the manual.

What is missing, is some basic software testing procedures. This weekend we installed SF6 and HDR6 (on Mac OS 9.2 with Nikon 8000) with much anticipation, in a clean and isolated system. We have had numerous, easy to spot problems with the software. I personally have found 6 persistent problems and I only worked for three hours!

No one expects bug free software. But the problems we are finding are so rudimentary that I wonder if basic testing was completed before release!
:-?

It is would be great if you could write in the forum what kind of bugs you found. That would help us to fix them ! Thanks.

Best regards.

Hummmm.... we've got to think about it :D

Anyway, we are always very pleased to get some feedback from the users (even negative a long as it is constructive)... and a bit less to get informed about some bugs crawling in the software!!

Best regards.
