When i try to scan a 8x10 image -slide- with the highest resolution the progam tells me that: th eimage is too large 2gnb, and i can not scan it?
How can i scan bigger images... I have a MacPro3,1, Quad-Core Intel Xeon, 2,8 GHz, 20 GB, plus an external hard drive with 2tb, so memory should not be a problem...

Dear customer,

Which scanner are you using?
Some devices have an internal maximum and can not create larger images.
SilverFast itself does not have a size limit.
The only other limit would be the maximum size for Tiff files.
But this is shown as such a limit.

Kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.

Dear customer,

The V750 has an internal limit of 4GB@48bit.
The scanner can not deliver larger scans than this.
in 48->24 bit mode the maximum obtainable size is 2GB (because the internal 48bit scan would be 4GB).

Kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.
