LaserSoft Imaging

I did a search but could not find an answer to my question. I am considering the new Epson 2400 scanner but the software package does not include Silver Fast scanning software. I checked this web site for Silver Fast SE availability for the Epson 2400 but it was not listed. Does anyone know if the Silver Fast software for the Epson 2450 will operate with the Epsno 2400?

I have not yet purchased the Epson 2400, I am still researching. After more input, I think I'll probably decide to purchase the Epson 2450 which includes the LaserSoft software and has improved image quality. The Epson 2400 is considerability cheaper but according to reviews, lacks the scan quality of the 2450 and has terrible software included. That's why I was interested in purchasing the LaserSoft software, if available.
