Lack of Support for Polaroid SS120 in Ai 6

What happened to truth in advertising? If you do not have support for the Polaroid SprintScan 120 yet in 6.0 for FireWire - THEN LET PEOPLE KNOW **BEFORE** they give you money for something that won't work. I did, in fact, check before upgrading and everything I saw indicated this was working.

Now that I have forked over $65.00 for a totally useless upgrade; why is this now broken when it worked fine in previous versions under 9.2.2? When will you correct this problem? Is there any workarounds until this is addressed?

What would be really helpful is a matrix that shows all the various combinations of Mac OS, Adobe PhotoShop Versions and SilverFast Versions.

What MAC OS are you using ?

Did you try the demo of v6 with that OS ?

What is the actual problem (like: is the scanner not recognized or is there an error in scanning) ?

Eric.

It's true. I can confirm that SilverFast 6 will not work with Firewire under either Mac OS 9.2.2 or OS X 10.1. I emailed Lasersoft and they confirmed this and said that it is a known issue and that they are working on it. SilverFast 5.5 works perfect with Firwire under OS 9.2.2. Strange that their is an issue with OS 9.2.2.

It's been 60 days - fixed yet?
