No preview in Preview Window

When doing a manual prescan, using the prescan button on the Standard Toolbar, I get a nice preview picture in the Preview Window.

However, when running an ADF scan, the Preview Window does not change from where it was already at begin, for example a simply white area, or some slide that I have prescanned manually.

However all the action is seen now in a miniature picture in the left bottom corner, Scanner Status. It is annoying to have the interesting stuff so small in a corner while the large Preview Window stays frozen.

I cannot even turn the frozen Preview Window off, but if I accidentally touch the frame in the window, the slides will take the misplaced frame without me knowing it.

It would be good to have the information in the small Scanner Status picture displayed also in the Preview Window.

Dear rsvoboda,

during an ADF scan the previews will not be saved because it is not necessary to do so. That is the reason that the preview is not shown in the main window.
