I'm trying to scan strips of negatives using Nikon Coolscan 8000.
(Using demo version of Ai Studio at the moment as a trial)
I have a few questions:
1) What is the best way to process the frames?
This is what I do but please tell me if there is a better way...
Open Ai Studio, select WorkflowPilot on (blue) so that I can select Source:Negative and Task:Edit
Switch Workflow pilot off (red)
Press Overview button to select frames (note there is no Settings button in the Overview Dialog).
When I close the overview dialog a preview scan appears for the first frame only.
There are no previous or next frame buttons for adf (just AF, Eject and Overview). JobManager shows the current frame only.
I set NegaFix for film type then select Batch scan
The problem - All frames are rendered with the same colour settings.
Is it possible to have different settings for the frames in the batch?
2) If I try to use Workflow pilot I can only scan the first frame. Is there a way to use workflow pilot and select the frame to be scanned?
3) Maybe the way to work on multiple frames is to archive and then process in HDR studio? If so, is there a demo version so that I can try it out?

Re: Multi frame questions (ADF)
Dear customer,
You can select the active image in the overview by clicking it.
The image with the rounded corners is the one selected and will be pre-scanned when you leave the overview.
The WorkflowPilot will also scan the active frame.
Currently it isnot yet possible to batch-scan with individual settings.
However our developers are currently integrating the JobManager for the Nikon series.
This will soon be available through an update and will allow to use individual settings for each image.
kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.
