iSRD and other options in b&w workflow pilot

Greetings,

I'm using now the workflow pilot to scan black and white negatives as when trying to scan them manually (as I scan color negatives) was getting strange results (see link below to manual scanning results file). But in the workflow pilot I don't see an option of using iSRD to clean the scratches. What is the method for these corrections in that mode?

Many thanks, Donna

Dear Donna,

unfortunately it is not possible to scan b&w negatives with iSRD because the infrared channel can not pervade this film. You must use SRD here.

Many thanks for your answer Artur.
Sampled three Workflowpilot B&W task options (high contrast, higher contrast and infrared), but didn't see that there's a step for using SRD there. As the SRD option is available in the manual mode that addresses my question. Although it seems better not to use the SRD option at all when preserving fine detail is important.

Dear Donna,

yes, SRD is available in the manual mode. Please figure out the SRD settings, it depends on the image you want to scan.
