Hi, I have written a technical methods section regarding photographic technique and processing of digital scans for a book to be published featuring the work of an artist captured 30-40 years ago with multiple types of 35 mm slide film. The resulting pre press Tiff files produced using SF Ai and HDRi are stunning. The editors have a question I cannot answer regarding the “HDRi – 64bit RAW data including infrared channel”. Namely, how is HDRi -64bit RAW processing possible within the context of the 32 bit computer (Mac Pro) processor I was using or the finished 16 bit RAW tiff file? Thanks

Re: HDRi 64bit RAW Data - Explanation
Dear LJ Hyde,
the 32-bit computer means the architecture of the CPU, 64-bit RAW file means the color depth of the picture (48 bit for the color, 16 bit for infrared channel).
That are two different things.
Best regards
