using multiple scanners

I have been using SilverFast 8 SE with my Plustek film scanner. Can I also use the software with my old flatbed scanner--HP 3970?

Dear bcgamble,
all supported scanners have their own SilverFast version, so it is not possible to use a HP scanner with a Plustek version of SilverFast.
