How to set up default location for scanned files?

How to set up default (permanent) location for scanned files? I can't find this from any preferences settings. It is always frustrating to retrieve photos from the factory set default location that is a "username"/Photos. I want to keep a folder in my desktop named "Scanned files" where I pick up my pictures to post processing. Only after that I archive my photos to subfolders of the "Photos" folder.

I have:
- Newest SilverFast 8
- Epson V750 Pro
- Mac OS X 10.8

P.S. I am new here and new SilverFast user. Sorry if I ask something stupid ;-)

Dear Edamski,

please make your settings and define your folder to save your scanned images.
Then klick on "Frame" and "Settings" and then on "Save Frame Settings" and give it a name.
Now open the preferences and choose this setting as default.

OK. But how to rename or delete these my saved settings?
Also I need to know how I can rename or delete my saved JobManager frame set.

Dear Edamski,

you can delete the frame settings and the frame sets by holding the "alt" key down and clicking on the defined settings in the menu.
