Which update is the right one?

Which update is the right one for my Powerlook 3000(IT8)(Windows)?"UMAX" or "UmaxSDK-IT8 Powerlook3000 Powerlook 2100XL".I downloaded the second one,but SF can`t find my scanner.I didn`t have the problem before with 5.5.0r06(IT8).

the correct Update is "UmaxSDK-IT8" - you downloaded the correct software. However, make sure you uninstalled the old SilverFast installation completely.
Does MagicScan find your PL3000?
IF yes, on what operating system?

Hi,
Magicscan does find the scanner,also SF 5.5.0r06.But r09 doesn`t(WinMe).How can I make sure,that I completely uninstalled 5.5.0r06?And what about XP,is it already supported in the r09 release?

After deinstalling Magicscan and SF and reinstalling both,it works now.Is there any information about the changes or new features in r09?And how do the four focusing options work.They differ from the ones described in your new manual.

Hi,
when I wrote the message above,I only made a prescan,which worked fine.But now,when I try to scan from PS 6.01,the only thing I get in PS is a totally white "picture",while the preview is o.k..What`s going on here?
