I am trying to connect my Powerlook 2100XL to my Windows XP machine and for some reason it is not being recognized. I think it might be a termination problem. Ive lost my manual so does anyone know what the DIP switch settings on the back should be set to. Also, any other tips of suggestions would be very helpful. I tried contacting UMAX but those zeros wouldnt help because they say im out of warranty. Thanks in advnace.

Dear " mkay "
Your Powerlook 2100XL is not being recognized by Win XP ??
Please switch the termination " on " and choose the scsi ID : No.: 2. Probably the scanner will be appear 8 times in the device manager. This belongs to the old firmware of the scanner. You can try to get a newereprom ( firmware ), but it might be not nessesary. If you still have the same problem of regognition, please check your scsi cable. Which scsi card do you use? Not every scsi card will work propper.
