SilverFast SE, frames and batch scan

Postby andre.kempe » Tue Jul 24, 2012 10:17 am

Hallo,

I purchased my CanoScan 9000F just a couple of days ago, therefore I still cannot give very much feedback. Just some comments and questions. I have upgraded to the last available version of Silverfast SE, 8.0.1r13.

Question 1: I know that frames are independent from each other. However, I usually scan one roll of film with the same resolution, same film type, etc. So is there a way to define a „Master“ frame?? Or a kind of preset for the frame settings? I know the "EInstellungen für alle Frames übernehmen". However I regularly forget that and therfore would like some automatics.

Question 2: The Batch-Scan is very good. A Batch-Cancel would be as good. Is there a way to cancel a whole batch job at once, without having to cancel each single scan? It simply takes to long.

Greetings and thanks,
André

Dear André,

There is no "master frame" but you can make your changes in one frame and then copy it's settings to all other frames through the frame menu.

You can cancel an entire batch by holding the alt-key while pressing the cancel button.

kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.
