SF AI Studio best practice:Run as CS3 plugin or stand alone?

Postby hassiman » Fri May 16, 2008 6:50 pm

Is there any advantage to running SilverFast AI studio as a CS3 plugin versus runing the program as a standalone on a Mac running Tiger or Leopard?

Technically you are running the same software, the launcher is a shell for starting the plugin. So if you don´t want to start the giant Photoshop just because you want to run a scan, the launcher is your way to go. It´s a matter of workflow preferences but the quality of the scans will be the same.
