Multipass

Postby mgilvey » Wed Feb 09, 2011 12:38 am

Maybe I'm doing something wrong, maybe my monitor screen is hiding it from me (it does have cracks in the surface coating) maybe I've just got good scanners or maybe I just don't know what I'm looking at but I cannot see any difference in the blacks using the multipass feature. Here is a scan I did of a b/w image that came off an Epson 4900.

Scan using single pass.

And here is the multipass (Lilu Dallas Multipass - sorry I couldn't resist the 5th Element reference) version.

Epson BW 16x.jpg
Scan using sixteen multipass.

Hi mgilvey,

perhaps if you tell us what exactly is it that you're looking for, someone will be able to find it.

Cheers
