EYEDROPPER

Postby SCANGOART » Wed Sep 03, 2008 9:43 pm

Silverfast... may already have this facility..if it has and I have missed it sorry...but it would be good to have an 'eyedropper' tool like that in Photoshop that not only measures a point but actually leaves that point behind with its original measurements and then any changes so that you can then go measure another point leaving and recording that point and another and so on.... This would mean that the operator could be watching various points at once during color correction and determine the changes made ?...

Do you mean eye dropper ?, to show the exact location and color your pointer is on, this small facility should be useful.

Have you checked out the Mid pip tool? Here is a link to a video on how to use it, and yes it works in SilverFast as well. http://www.silverfast.com/download/movie/hdr-600r08_en_midpip4_en_2004-10-07.mov

Hope this helps!
