Best setting for ICC profiling (Epson GT-7000 SCSI)

Postby Ano.Nymous » Tue Dec 16, 2003 2:58 pm

What would be the best settings in Silverfast AI 6 for EPSON GT-7000 scanner, when scanning profiling target for 3rd party profiling sw?

I'm looking for something like HutchColor.com RGB scanning document suggests ... You can find the data behind this link :

You should scan normal (24bit / 48bit color, whatever the third party software could handle) without any corrections (gradiation, histogram, any automatic).
Best would be to scan in 48bit HDR, with set "Gamma in HDR" in the options. But this could only be used, if the software could handle 48bit pictures.
The resolution is not very important, but it should be an optical one (100% scale). So has no interpolation effect on the colors.

kind regards
