Batch Scanning with ME

Postby dan in marin » Mon Oct 10, 2011 10:27 pm

Is it possible to batch scan with multiple exposure enabled. This sure would improve workflow for me. Thanx for the help.

Batch scanning implies you are using multiple frames.
Each frame has it's own settings so you either have to copy the settings from a configured frame to the others or set all frames individually.

Thank you Arn for the helpful response. As is typical this prompts a followup question. I have used the copy and paste buttons from a configured frame and pasted onto the next frame, but seem to be limited to path and filters. Output size, dust removal, ME don't seem to be applied to the next frame.

Thanx

Dan

Have you tried the copy to all frames option from the frame menu?
Does that show the same behavior?

kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.

No I have not figured out how to batch ME scans. I have to scan each slide individually first for IR scratch dust and then for ME. Including those steps in a batch command would significantly improve workflow.

Sorry I do not understand what you are trying to do.
You can activate iSRD and ME for the same frame.

kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.

Sorry I am not making myself clear. I would like to batch scan multiple frames using me and ir dust removal. I currently must scan each frame individually if I want to use ME and dust removal. Is there a way to set up a workflow where I perform adjustments to each frame for exposure, color, etc. Those adjustments are kept and then batch scan using ME and dust removal. That would be my ideal workflow.

thanx

Dan

You only have to activate those options for each frame.
Like I said each frame has individual settings.
If ME and iSRD are activated for each frame they will be applied during the batch run.
