Dear nurgle, Who said anything about a phone call ? I´ve had my share of heavy metal back in the days too so I would prefer iChat. It´s almost like this forum, but we can send us text based messages in real time. Plus you can share your screen with us which means we will save weeks of email corres...

Hello All, I know it sounds like lame marketing lingo but we are investigating this (we would be stupid and ignorant if not). The problem is that we simply can not reproduce this and whenever that's the case we depend on your help. So when LSI staff is asking for setup and configuration specs, pls k...

Dear nurgle, speaking of trying ... try to answer my emails that I keep sending to you. I am very positive that this problem is related to your setup and I will explain why: - the software works from the launcher and you are starting the same software under PS CS3, there is only one plugin used by e...

Technically you are running the same software, the launcher is a shell for starting the plugin. So if you don´t want to start the giant Photoshop just because you want to run a scan, the launcher is your way to go. It´s a matter of workflow preferences but the quality of the scans will be the same...

Printercalibration will be activated with the serial. If you purchased the optional feature for € / $ 99,- you received an email with a new serial number and instructions how to activate it.

No "Save" window ever pops up..

This behaviour is actually intended in a "fully automatic IT8 calibration" process. The ICC profile will be saved automatically in the correct folder, thus no "Save" window.

Dear nurgle, technically speaking SilverFast is NOT a scanner driver and since you stated that it runs when using the launcher, sorry the issue here is not a corrupt driver! In order to get you back to work, we offered you live support via ichat and screensharing since you are using Leopard as well ...

We have to stick to the facts in order to progress. Of course there is a problem, obviously. Whether it is related to SilverFast and/or our installer is yet to be verified. Cut me some slack here, Sandy. As soon as I can get off the forum I will be back solving the problem. A senior LSI developer an...

clearly something else is being installed with the silverfast installer that I cant find... that stops earlier version from even working

Fact is: we do NOT install anything that stops earlier versions from working.

Dear nurgle, you are correct. This forum is for users to seek and offer help from / to other users. I would be surprised if MultiExposure would produce grainy images on any scanner. I would rather opt for some setting causing the trouble. Did you try resetting to factory defaults ? Please go to Options and choose Option parameters --> load factory settings.

Best,
