Kodak does offer a Kodachrome Q60 target that you can try and see if that helps. Certainly should be closer than an Ektachrome.

Ralf,

Check out Ian Lyons' excellent tutorials. You can find them at http://www.computer-darkroom.com or you can get to them from Lasersofts main page (the link is near the bottom of the page).

If the Ai Job Manager + Slide feeder software will support manual reloading to do the final scans, then i think i am there. i did some tests on the manual slide adapter (i don't have the bulk feeder yet) and i got position repeatability of about 1% a...

Ian, Well said and i agree fully. Unfortunately, many of us who are amatuers trying to use professional tools are not generating a cash stream from our hobby. The assumption that Job Manager is enabled with the Slide feeder (add on software) control program is the real question to LSI and so far LSI has not commented (other than the negative reply from US tech support above). So i assume that LSI would have to "ena...

i was trying to do this without resorting to using HDR since Job Manager is integrated in the scanner specific version now. The manual makes no mention of being able to do this with the slide feeder, only the film roll and strip feeders. My conversation with US tech support indicated that this was b...

Would it be possible and useful to have the following workflow for slide feeders (Nikon for example):1) prescan and make auto/manual adjustments to each slide and add to the "job", 2) reload the feeder, 3) initiate the final scans (the job) and go do something else ( sleep!). This would appear to be...
