Here is the Apple KB entry on how to enable root on all versions of OSX: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1528 After...

Re: Upgrade

Dear Customer,

in order to use color managment you would need to use the Photoshop/Standalone Version, as TWAIN does not support any color managment.

Re: I have no success with color management - HELP!

Dear Customer,

is it possible that you are doing a HDR Scan ?

Otherwise I just saw one thing that does not seem to be correct

the setting of input->internal should be ICM rather then none.

Re: Sound notification after a successful scan

Dear Rainer, we do already have this option but it is originally intended for batch scanning so you would need to set SilverFast to batch scan, but only use one frame. When starting the Scan SilverFast will ask you if a sound should be played at the end of the scan. I think this is what you are sear...

Re: HDRi iSRD Kodachrome Win 7/64 Coolscan V ED

Waiting 6-12 months is way too long for a product that is already fairly expensive. The adage "Time is money" works both ways. I'm wasting my money either waiting on you to release this for Windows 7 or by buying Apple/MAC stuff. Please don't strong-arm, taunt, or alienate the PC market s...

Re: over-exposed gel scanning on V700

Dear Customer,

if it worked once I would suggest resting SilverFast by deleting the preference files via the service menu.
This sets SilverFast back to "factory defaults"
